 forêt of Feast has which extends on 53 hectares is remarkable from the point of view of the history, sylviculture and fauna. The Counts and Dukes of Savoy, who drove out there with the Middle Ages, were at the origin of the beautiful grove of oak-reopen that one can still admire today. It is as of their time as date the network of alleys which divides this forest, alleys which aim at cities of the Country of Vaud, on the other side of the Lake, formerly pledged in Savoy. The large old wall, surrounding the site allows the existence of a quite alive fauna where are distinguished particularly the roe-deers and one of the largest héronnières of France.

ndré Engel created forest Arboretum whose collections of trees, planted of 1930 to 1934 out of 19 hectares, is composed of 58 different gasolines, the majority exotics. The goal was to try out the way in which these seedlings could be accustomed with our area. Certain species, like the Douglas one of North America, showed a remarkable adaptation.
